It is recommended that you register and pay online, however, we do offer a printable PDF version of the registration form that you may fill out and mail in if you prefer. Download the form HERE. 

$10,000 purse, awards for top 10 places per meat, and "Weldon Broaddus" trophies for Grand Champion and Reserve Champion. 55 teams must enter to award full $10,000.

• 7:00 am Park Opens for Set-Up

Saturday, 8/17

• 9:00 am Cooks' Meeting

Turn in Times: 

• Chicken - 11:00 am (2 Whole Halves)
• Pork Spare Ribs - 1:00 pm (7 Pieces)
• Brisket - 3:00 pm (7 Slices)

Limited free RV parking is available on-site during the cook-off. It is $25 to stay overnight on festival grounds (limited space available, no hook-ups.) Call 575-754-1708 to reserve your spot with the Town of Red River. Spots must be reserved in advance. 

This is a ticketed event. Each BBQ team will be given up to 4 free park access wristbands, one for each cook on the team. These tickets are valid for the Brandenburg Park portion of the event. Upgrading the wristbands for access to all venues may be possible for an additional fee. Email hello@redriverevents.org with questions.
